If you like my blog and are curious about what I’m working on, here’s the latest, updated on July 29.2024. Note that the list goes from business doings to personal. Enjoy.
- Since everything’s moving to audio and/or video these days, and blogs are dying rapidly, I’m doubling down on turning most of my written work into audios and YouTube videos. I’d prefer to continue playing blogger, but it’s either aligning with the market’s demands or being thrust into irrelevancy.
- Made my first hire. She’s helping me with audio, video, and admin-related tasks.
- I’m writing my next book, “Beat The Breakup.” It’s a book about 27 conflicting philosophies on getting past a breakup and one weird conclusion. Fun stuff!
- I have started experimenting with a 5/6-hour workday. So far, the results have been staggering! By minimizing distractions and only focusing on a handful of business tasks that matter, I’m accomplishing just as much — perhaps even more — than when I was working 9-10 hours per day.
- I’m taking reading more seriously. For the past year, I was so focused on business growth that I rarely sat down to read.
- I’m in my third year of learning Russian. Hopefully, by the end of 2024, I’ll be high-conversational or B2. Once I achieve that, I’ll probably start learning either Ukrainian, Polish, or Czech.
- I’m learning how to cook restaurant-quality dishes at home.
- I have started playing Yu-Gi-Oh! after a 12-year hiatus.
- I’m taking care of my two little guinea pigs, Han Solo and Chewie (Update: Han Solo passed away last week; rest in peace).
- For the first time in my life, I’m actively working on gaining muscle. I have always worked out a lot, but rarely with heavy weights at the gym. Felt like it was time for a change.
- I spent an entire year and a shit ton of legal fees trying to move to Switzerland, only to realize that I like it more in Slovenia, my home country. So now I’m saving up for an apartment here.
- I took a deep dive into politics. While sometimes frustrating, it’s been a lot of fun so far. My current position is pretty much that of a typical social liberal.
